The Speech Processing e-Mail List is a forum for news, questions, and answers regarding all aspects of this course. Discussion topics for this list will include speech processing news, homework, projects, lectures, and exams (no solutions!). I prefer to use this e-mail list to answer all general questions for the benefit of all students. Students are also welcome to offer answers to questions and to post information on speech processing in general.

Please subscribe to our Speech Processing e-Mail List as soon as possible by sending an e-mail message to:

To: majordomo@apl.jhu.edu

Do not include anything else in the message (it is not read by a human). You should instantly receive an automatic reply with instructions on using our mailing list (save them). You are welcome to subscribe from as many addresses as you wish (e.g., you might want to subscribe from home and from work). Please note that majordomo@apl.jhu.edu is the address to send list commands to, not postings.

To share a message with the class, the posting address for our e-mail list is speech@apl.jhu.edu and I recommend that you add it to your .mailrc/address book. (You’ll receive instructions with your subscription explaining how to post messages.)

Note: JHU provides dial-up Internet service for students. Additionally, there are many free e-mail services, e.g., Juno (http://www.juno.com/).
