Homework and Projects Sun Microsystems' Java compiler, JDK 1.2.2, is available on aplcenmp.apl.jhu.edu in the directory /usr/java1.2.2/bin. Students may use other compilers, JBuilder, Visual J++ and Symantec Visual Cafe, for example; however, the submitted code for grading must be JDK 1.2 compliant. Students are responsible for performing their own work on the assigned projects. Homework and Project assignment dates are given in the syllabus. Homework and Project assignments are due by the end of the class period for which the assignment is due. Late assignments will be penalized and accrue a 10% penalty for each week late. Absolutely no projects or homework will be accepted after December 16, 1999. No food or drink is permitted in the computer laboratory.
