Course Description
This course introduces parallel hardware/software computing structures. Topics include pipelining and vector machines, structures and algorithms for array processors, multiprocessor architectures and control, data flow machines, and VLSI parallel computing structures.

Prerequisites
525.412 Computer Architecture or equivalent undergraduate background

Instructor
Mike Pascale develops parallel algorithms and corresponding parallel processing architectures at Northrop Grumman for applications such as radar space-time adaptive processing. Dr. Pascale received his BSEE from the University of Delaware and Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University.
